This is the result of this year's Germany-wide customer satisfaction study conducted by the daily newspaper WELT in cooperation with the analysis and market research specialist ServiceValue. In the study, the best companies in terms of customer service from around 400 sectors were identified from among almost 4,700 companies. The evaluation was based exclusively on customer assessments without the involvement of the companies evaluated.

A total of over 1.9 million customer votes were recorded in this year's study. Per between 500 and 1,000 current and former customers per company were asked whether they had been they had experienced very good customer service in the last 36 months. The annual "Service Champion" study is Germany's most comprehensive survey of the service quality of companies as seen by the customer's point of view. The service rankings are based on the scientifically reliable "Service Experience Score," a simple and efficient concept for measuring customer satisfaction across different industries.
