The highest award in dialogue marketing EDDI goes to Deutsche Bahn and PAYBACK
The German Dialogue Marketing Association (short: DDV) presents the EDDI award once a year in the categories BtoC and BtoB. All EDDI winners are united by the fact that they are pioneers for excellent dialogue marketing and are successfully using dialogue marketing as an integral part of their long-term communication strategy. This year's EDDI Award in the BtoC category goes to Deutsche Bahn. The company is delighted to receive the EDDI Award: "We are particularly pleased about the award. It encourages us to continue pursuing our chosen path of personalized communication with our BahnBonus participants and BahnCard customers with great enthusiasm and passion," said Myrta Leonhardt, Head of Direct Marketing and Operational CRM at DB Fernverkehr AG. The winner in the BtoB category is PAYBACK. It is the first company in the history of the EDDI to win the highly regarded prize in both categories. Mark Brauch, Director Direct Marketing & Reach at PAYBACK, appreciates the awarded prize for their B2B dialogue marketing: "For 31 million customers in Germany, PAYBACK has purely a B2C focus: for them, it is all about the "points for shopping" reward. However, the strength of PAYBACK also clearly lies in the B2B sector and our data-driven marketing, through which we support 680 partner companies in achieving their goals. We are delighted and proud to be the first company to be awarded with the ‘Oscar in Dialogue Marketing’ for the second time". "Our winners this year are true dialogue marketing experts and a prime example of how a dialogue on eye level can be conducted with the customers in a highly professional manner. We congratulate the award winners and will celebrate appropriately together at the EDDI Night in autumn", says DDV President Martin Nitsche. The EDDI Night was postponed to November 3 in the course of the Corona pandemic and will take place during the DialogSummit in Frankfurt am Main.
