Raiffeisen-Tours-Kooperation (rtk), Germany’s largest cooperative network of travel agencies, has extended its existing agreement with PAYBACK for another three years, enabling further expansion of the successful partnership. rtk joined the PAYBACK programme in 2010. “Our partnership with PAYBACK has given us a clear advantage over our rivals in the fiercely competitive tourism market. We are therefore delighted to continue our cooperation and to be able to keep offering our customers significant added value when they book their holidays,” said rtk managing director Thomas Bösl.
PAYBACK is the leading international multi-partner bonus programme and is also the largest and highest-performing multichannel marketing platform in the world. In Germany, 26 million PAYBACK customers can collect points from 650 companies they use in their everyday lives. They can then redeem these points for vouchers and rewards, or they can donate them to charity. Customers redeem around 95% of all the points collected. As a multichannel marketing platform, PAYBACK communicates synchronously via all channels – offline, online and mobile – a strategy which perfectly combines reach with personalisation. Some 6 million customers already use the PAYBACK app and mobile PAYBACK services on their smartphones.
“We are pleased to extend this partnership because it offers real added value to PAYBACK customers who enjoy travelling. rtk is very important to our customers because they have a strong desire to travel,” said Walter Lukner, member of the PAYBACK management board. “We are confident that our shared success will continue because rtk makes optimum use of PAYBACK as a marketing platform and as an efficient instrument for reaching customers. Travel agencies can use the programme to reward their loyal customers with a wide range of benefits, including points and vouchers relevant to them.” According to Lukner, PAYBACK gives rtk the opportunity to reach over 26 million active PAYBACK customers via various channels, making it the perfect accompaniment to the multichannel approach pursued by rtk, which includes the rtk travel app.
