PAYBACK expands management team
Munich – The PAYBACK bonus programme is bucking the general economic trend with continued growth. And this business growth is to be matched by expansion in the programme’s management team. With immediate effect, the management duo of Burkhard Grassmann (Management Spokesman) and Bernhard Brugger (Managing Director Sales) are being joined by Andreas Berninger (39) and Kai Klippel (36). IT and process specialist Andreas Berninger is to take on the role of Managing Director Operations while Kai Klippel is to be appointed Managing Director Business Development and Internationalisation. "Payback is continuously growing, both offline and online, and our plans for the company’s internationalisation are being put into practice. In order to underpin this growth, we are expanding our management team", explains Burkhard Grassmann, Spokesman for the PAYBACK management team. At present, 60 percent of German households have a PAYBACK card. Both of the new Managing Directors have held senior positions in the Loyalty Partner Group for a number of years. Kai Klippel started his career at the company and has been with Loyalty Partner since completing his studies at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and spending time in France and the U.S. Among his other achievements, he was responsible for establishing the PAYBACK shop and introducing the PAYBACK Visa card, now one of the most successful credit cards in Germany. He was latterly in charge of Corporate Development. Andreas Berninger joined Loyalty Partner from Lufthansa Airplus Servicekarten GmbH in 2006. As an Executive Director at Airplus, he was in charge of all operations in more than 30 countries. He was responsible for the running of billing systems that handled 70 million transactions, more than a million credit cards and sales of EUR 12 billion. Loyalty Partner counts Deutsche Bahn AG among its customers and besides successfully operating the bahn.comfort and bahn.bonus bonus schemes also manages the Bahncard, Germany’s rail network card. Berninger was responsible for the successful implementation of these projects and is now in charge of this sector and PAYBACK in his dual management team role. <link 27 - internal-link>Here</link> you can find pictures of the new PAYBACK management members.
