In the category "Service Provider", the Institute for Management and Economic Development together with Deutschland Test awarded the Munich-based tech company the top mark, which is considered a benchmark for the industry. "We are pleased and honoured that our many internal measures to promote women are also bearing fruit externally. Around 50 percent of our colleagues and 67 percent of PAYBACK customers are women. That's why it's essential to keep female interests and prospects high," says Carolin Schlegtendal, HR Director and Head of Talent Acquisition at PAYBACK.
"It's up to us not only to create the best possible working environment for women, but also to get them into top positions in companies," says Schlegtendal, who is also responsible for Inclusion & Diversity along with several PAYBACK Group Ambassadors. In 2019 and 2020, PAYBACK already received the "Best Employer for Women" award with 5 out of 5 possible stars in a study conducted by the women's magazine BRIGITTE in collaboration with the HR marketing experts at Territory Embrace. Among employers with up to 2,000 employees, the tech company even made it into the top 10 best employers for women in Germany.
For the current study, more than one million responses to 18,000 companies from over 200 sectors were evaluated in a two-stage process from February 2020 to January 2021 on key questions such as: "At which companies in Germany do women have the best career opportunities?" And: "Where is equality already being practised and which companies are on the right track?" Further information on the study and all test winners with scores can be found here.
