New head of strategy at PAYBACK

Digital expert Tim Seewöster switches from zanox to the multichannel marketing platform in Munich
PAYBACK has hired an additional specialist to expand its digital expertise. As Head of Strategic and Corporate Development, Dr. Tim Seewöster (37) will primarily be responsible for the digital development of the PAYBACK marketing platform. “Internationalisation and digitisation are currently two of the main focal points of the joint strategy with our new shareholder American Express. We are therefore delighted that Tim Seewöster – a specialist in the digital world – has joined our team,” says Bernhard Brugger, CEO Central Europe at PAYBACK GmbH. Before taking up his new position at PAYBACK, Seewöster headed up Corporate Strategy and International Business Development at zanox AG in Berlin, Europe's biggest performance advertising network. His areas of responsibility included the planning and implementation of growth strategies with internationalisation projects in several markets worldwide. He was also in charge of M&A projects for the zanox Group. Before joining zanox, Seewöster worked as a business consultant in the online and offline industry and, among other things, as a project manager at the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS), where he supervised private and public funding projects with a focus on business IT. As a graduate in business administration, Seewöster was also Director of the Chair for Business IT and Controlling during his time at ERCIS. He currently lectures in business management at VWA Bielefeld and is a guest lecturer for strategic and international management at ESCP Berlin.
