Munich – Antje Burkert (35) is the new head of online marketing at PAYBACK. She is an expert in multichannel and dialogue marketing and customer relationship management (CRM), and will be a significant driving force in the expansion of PAYBACK's digital activities. “Antje Burkert brings the experience and necessary expertise with her to further improve our online marketing. With her on board, we will increase our use of big data marketing to define target groups and move ahead with the use of real-time advertising and audience buying,” says Magnus Schmidt, Head of Digital Marketing at PAYBACK. The goal is to expand PAYBACK's position as market leader in this area as well, while at the same time further improving synchronous communication via offline, online and mobile channels. For example, in the past two years the company has pushed ahead not only with its internationalisation, but also its transformation from a loyalty programme to a multichannel marketing platform. Antje Burkert can boast of 14 years’ professional experience. Before joining PAYBACK, she worked for Commerz Finanz GmbH for six years, four of them as team leader for marketing. Her responsibilities in this position included multichannel marketing and key account management for sales support. Before that, she was senior marketing manager for CRM at O2 Germany GmbH & Co. OHG. Antje Burkert had already gathered some experience with Loyalty Partner GmbH (operator of PAYBACK) between 2004 and 2006, first as relationship marketing manager, then later as online marketing manager.
