New head of customer service at PAYBACK
Munich – PAYBACK is boosting its European customer service team by appointing call-centre expert Kathrin Schwarz (38). She will be joining PAYBACK headquarters in Munich from Sunrise Communications AG in Zurich, and will have overall responsibility for Customer Service Central Europe. Previously in charge of the external call-centre service providers in the field of retention services at Telefónica for five years, she was also a team and project manager at Defacto Call Center GmbH. She is a business management graduate, speaks four languages and has gathered both national and international management experience in the fields of call-centre and service provider management. At Telefónica, she played a key role in building up the external service providers and latterly her team supported all of the international partners. Partner coordination and quality assurance in the various countries are also key building blocks for successful customer service at PAYBACK. Kathrin Schwarz will not only be responsible for that but also for further optimising working processes and cross-sector coordination in Central Europe. Over 50 million customers worldwide collect PAYBACK points, more than 20 million of them in Germany. Along with schemes in India and Mexico, PAYBACK also has a presence in Poland. Rapid internationalisation and digitisation pose new challenges for customer service. In recent years, PAYBACK has received several awards for its customer orientation and customer service.
