PAYBACK once again achieves a top ranking as Customer King. This is the result of a study by ServiceValue in cooperation with the BILD newspaper, in which more than 2,500 companies were examined for their customer benefits. Germany's largest and most popular bonus program leads the "bonus systems" category by a wide margin: With a ranking of 2.11, the company is the only one in its category to receive the award for "Highest Customer Benefit," placing it ahead of DeutschlandCard and Miles & More; the industry average is 2.48. The study is based on a 5-stage approval scale, in which consumers are asked about benefit expectations and actual benefits before and after using services and products.
"We are very pleased with the excellent result, especially because this study specifically queries the own experiences of active Nutzer:innen," says Florian Wolfframm, Head of Retail Sales & Marketing at PAYBACK. "With PAYBACK, customers secure shopping benefits from over 680 partners and benefit in-store, online or via our PAYBACK app." Already 31 million customers use PAYBACK and its numerous services, more than 10 million of them regularly on mobile devices.
The PAYBACK app combines services such as collecting and redeeming points, activating coupons, making mobile payments and shopping. The app also offers the PAYBACK GO service, which allows customers to "check in" with a partner using their smartphone and thus receive even more current offers and coupons for their purchases. A new feature of the app is "Fuel & Go": this service eliminates the need to queue at the checkout when refueling at Aral service stations, and the tank is paid for directly from the pump using the PAYBACK app. Recently, PAYBACK also provided even more flexibility for mobile payments by enabling customers to deposit a credit card with PAYBACK PAY.
