Germany's largest and most popular bonus program PAYBACK has once again received the "Customer King" award for companies offering the greatest customer benefits. The market research company Service Value, in cooperation with the BILD newspaper, used an extensive customer survey to determine that PAYBACK was the clear leader in the "bonus programs" category.
A total of over 516,000 consumer assessments of more than 2,000 companies were obtained for the study. The winners in other categories include OTTO, LINDA pharmacies and TEDi.
"The 'Customer King' is an award that we are particularly pleased about. Because it confirms our mission to provide customers with the right offer, at the right time, via the right channel. As a result, they collect a lot of points from many companies when they shop and save a considerable amount each year," says Florian Wolfframm, member of the PAYBACK management team and VP Retail Sales & Marketing.
The study is based on a 5-stage approval scale in which consumers are asked about expected and actual benefits before and after using services and products. The rating "High customer benefit" is given to all companies that perform better than the overall mean across all market peers within their sector. Companies that are again above average within this group receive the rating "Very high customer benefit".
Only those companies that achieve the best rating in their sector receive the "Highest customer benefit" award. The survey is conducted without the involvement of the companies assessed.
