Bochum, Munich – Aral has extended its partnership with PAYBACK until 2016. The market leader on the German service station market joined Europe's biggest loyalty programme in May 2006. In cooperation with its parent company BP, it has also been a PAYBACK partner in Poland for a year now. “The cooperation has proved very successful. PAYBACK helps us boost customer loyalty and win new customers. We award points to almost every second buyer,” says Patrick Wendeler, Marketing Manager at Aral. This customer incentive brings growth in fuel sales for Aral and tangible added value for its customers, who can collect points each time they visit the service station and redeem them in a number of ways, even to make purchases at the service station. PAYBACK allows customers to collect points from a great many attractive partners, ensuring that their points account fills up quickly.
The programme supports not only Aral's fuel business but also its car wash sales and shop purchases. “That is why, when the time came to renew our contract, we also decided to expand our marketing activities via PAYBACK ‘s broad range of channels,” explains Wendeler. “PAYBACK helps us to identify and address particular customer groups, thus making it possible to measure and evaluate results directly.”
“Long-term partnerships are key to PAYBACK 's success and the programme's ongoing appeal. We are delighted that Aral has chosen to confirm its confidence in our programme in this way. We will do everything we can to support the company as it strives to extend its market leadership,” states PAYBACK CEO Bernhard Brugger.
Aral follows PAYBACK partners such as Apollo-Optik, real,-, dm-drogerie markt, WestLB, Linda Apotheken, Galeria Kaufhof, Dänisches Bettenlager and Depot as another major partner company to have extended its contract with Payback by several years in the last few months.
