Amplifon and PAYBACK: One year of successful partnership
Hamburg, Munich – For the past year, customers have been able to collect PAYBACK points from Amplifon, one of the world's leading hearing aid specialists. After just the first few months, the enthusiasm from customers and Amplifon for Germany's biggest loyalty programme has huge. "The collaboration has helped us to raise the profile of hearing impairment, attract new customers and offer our existing customers added value," says Robert Leitl, Managing Director at Amplifon in Germany. Customers can collect PAYBACK points on hearing aids, hearing aid batteries, care and maintenance products and other accessories, receiving one point for every euro they spend. In the run-up to Christmas, Amplifon is offering customers additional PAYBACK points through coupons. The partnership between the companies is working to everyone's advantage. While the benefits for Amplifon include increased loyalty, frequency and satisfaction among their customers, consumers are gaining additional opportunities to collect points and take advantage of exclusive services. An added bonus is that the collaboration with PAYBACK has helped raise the profile of the Amplifon brand. PAYBACK has been hugely successful since 2000 and is currently the third most common card in German wallets, after EC and credit cards. The popularity of the programme is predominantly due to its strong partners such as Aral, Apollo-Optik, dm-drogerie markt, Galeria Kaufhof, real,-, WMF and over 500 participating online shops including Amazon, eBay and iTunes. Customers need only one card to collect points and enjoy other exclusive benefits from all these companies.
