The loyalty program is on its way to becoming the best PAYBACK ever
PAYBACK has become an integral part of everyday life for consumers in Germany: on average, Germany's most popular bonus program is used 50 times per second and coupons are redeemed at partner companies eight times per second. The first few months of the 2024 financial year have been particularly successful for PAYBACK: The multi-partner bonus program currently has more active customers than ever before, who are rewarding themselves with points when shopping at more partners than ever before - currently over 700 companies. And the multi-award-winning PAYBACK app is already used by 12 million users.
“Collecting points pays off: Since PAYBACK was launched, 630 billion PAYBACK points have been collected with a monetary equivalent of 6.3 billion euros. What is particularly remarkable is that 94 percent of these points are also redeemed by customers. With all these figures, PAYBACK is on its way to becoming the 'best PAYBACK ever',” says PAYBACK Managing Director Bernhard Brugger.
This is also the motto for the anniversary year - because PAYBACK will be 25 years old in 2025. Just in time for the anniversary, the EDEKA Group with EDEKA, Netto and Marktkauf as well as the Sparkasse are joining PAYBACK. This will enable customers to collect and save even more points than before, and PAYBACK will gain even more reach in one fell swoop. “We are very much looking forward to the new partners - and would also like to thank our long-standing partners such as dm-drogerie markt, Alnatura, PHOENIX, Thalia and gesund.de for the trust they have once again shown in us with their latest contract extensions,” says Brugger.
