New: Now you can also pay online with PAYBACK PAY

Over 31 million PAYBACK customers in Germany can now also pay with PAYBACK PAY when shopping online. What was previously possible in bricks-and-mortar shops - namely paying simply and securely with the PAYBACK app in a single step, collecting points and redeeming them at the same time - now also works online.
points and redeem them - now also works online. The innovation partner for the new online payment function is dm-drogerie markt. According to Statista, PAYBACK PAY, together with PayPal and Klarna, is one of the most important and best-known mobile payment functions in Germany.

‘Customers only want one thing at the checkout: to pay quickly and securely. Those who use PAYBACK also want to save money. With PAYBACK PAY, this has long been possible in one step in shops, and now it also works online,’ says PAYBACK Managing Director Dominik Dommick. ‘We are delighted to be able to offer this logical further development and important additional option.’

That's why we have added a number of PAYBACK services and PAYBACK PAY to our dm app in recent months, thus linking the services of both companies even more closely for our customers.  What's new is that PAYBACK PAY can now also be used to pay in the dm online shop,’ says Sebastian Bayer, dm Managing Director responsible for Marketing and Procurement. After dm, other PAYBACK partners will follow where PAYBACK PAY can be used to pay online.

The PAYBACK PAY mobile payment function, which works both by direct debit and with a stored credit card, has been available since 2016. PAYBACK PAY is now one of the most important digital payment services in Germany. Around 12.5 million customers already enjoy the benefits of the PAYBACK app at around 700 partners.
